What Redistro is
Redistro is a mutual distribution network for indie apps. You post about other builders' apps and earn Boosts. When you have enough Boosts, other builders post about yours.
What we store about you
- From Google when you sign in: your name, e-mail address and profile picture. We use them to create your account and show who shared what.
- What you add: your app's link, its one-line description, and the links to posts you publish about other apps.
- Activity: your Boost balance, which apps you shared, and when.
- Clicks on tracked links: when someone opens a
redistro.lol/r/…link we record the time and the referring site. We do not record who clicked. - A session cookie so you stay signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your data.
- We do not post on your behalf. You write and publish every post yourself, on your own account.
- We do not read your Google contacts, files or mail. We only ask for your basic profile.
Who else touches the data
The app runs on Vercel, the database is hosted by Neon, and sign-in is handled by Google. Each processes data only to provide the service. The links you publish live on X, LinkedIn or Reddit under their own terms.
Public information
Your handle, your app's name and description, and the fact that you shared an app are visible to other signed-in builders. Your e-mail address is never shown.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete your account and everything attached to it at any time. E-mail me@arzuman.co from the address you signed in with and we will remove it within 30 days. You can also revoke Redistro's access in your Google account permissions.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, we update the date at the top. Questions go to me@arzuman.co.
